History 

  The company was started in May of 2016 in Hayden Idaho. 

The owner Lawrence Hartman retired from a technology development company. He developed  a wide range of products in the telecommunication and avionics areas.

  The company is focused on developing products for both the commercial and residential sector.

   The company evaluates possible products using the Venture Design approach formulated by Alex Cowan. This disciplined approach is focused on knowing your customers needs and what is the value proposition the potential product brings.

Monetize 

  Depending on the product and market, SIV may use crowdsourcing to fund a limited production run of the product. Going this path provides a minimum viable product (MVP) to customers. These early users of the product provide feedback and validate market need.
